Meet
Mar
ā
Mar is the founder of True Nature, a space holder, end-of-life doula, somatic practitioner, and facilitator. She is a friend, a sister, a mother, and a daughter; a lover of life and of all sentient beings, and a lifelong student of what it means to be human.
ā
Her work is rooted in a deep passion for the moments when people touch their own potential and remember that the love, belonging, and wholeness they have been searching for outside of themselves have been within them all along.
ā
Mar is an advocate for the conscious, ethical, and sustainable use of Cannabis, Bufo Alvarius, and 5-MeO-DMT. Through True Nature, she creates spaces where people can explore their relationship with themselves, with the medicines, and with the mystery of being alive.

ABOUT ME
ā
I am a Mexican space holder, end-of-life doula, somatic practitioner, and facilitator whose work is rooted in a lifelong curiosity about consciousness, the unseen, and the mystery of being human.
ā
I was born in Mexico City and have always experienced the world with a deep sensitivity. From a young age, I questioned the frameworks I had been given to understand life, spirituality, and myself, and began looking for ways to make sense of experiences that could not always be explained.
I studied Psychology and the Arts, but it was my own healing journey that ultimately became the foundation of my work.
ā
After being diagnosed with depression and experiencing the limitations of conventional approaches to my healing, I encountered psilocybin mushrooms for the first time. This experience opened a new chapter in my relationship with psychedelics and entheogenic medicines, beginning a path that continues to unfold through study, practice, direct experience, and a willingness to keep questioning what I think I know.
ā
I did not initially imagine myself working with plant medicines or psychedelics. Over the years, I was invited into this path by mentors and people who recognized something in me and opened doors I had not been looking for myself.
I chose to listen.
Over time, these invitations became part of a larger path of service that felt deeply aligned with my own questions and my way of moving through the world.
THE HEART OF THE WORK
At the heart of my work is a commitment to participating consciously in the evolution of consciousness in humanity.
ā
I am deeply interested in the full spectrum of being human: birth and death, love and grief, joy and pain, surrender and transformation. I am curious about the places where we meet ourselves most honestly, especially when the structures we have relied on begin to change.
ā
As an end-of-life doula, I have spent time learning from the threshold between life and death. Although I do not currently work directly with people at the end of life, the recognition of our impermanence remains central to the way I live and serve.
ā
My relationship with death has deepened my relationship with life.ā It has taught me to pay attention to what matters, to recognize the preciousness of the present moment, and to approach the medicines I work alongside with humility and respect.
ā
I do not believe that we need to transcend our humanity in order to awaken. I believe there is something to be found by becoming more intimate with it.
With our bodies.
Our emotions.
Our relationships.
Our grief.
Our joy.
Our contradictions.
Our capacity to love.

MY APPROACH
ā
Rather than following a single modality, I have woven the different experiences, practices, and teachings that have shaped my life into a practice of my own.
ā
My work is embodied, relational, somatic, and intuitive. I draw from parts work and other somatic approaches, as well as my experience with grief, end-of-life care, meditation, breath, and altered states of consciousness.
ā
My path of study and practice includes end-of-life care and grief, Janzu, massage therapy, social leadership, cannabis meditation, authentic relating, and Nonviolent Communication. I have also completed a nine-month 5-MeO-DMT facilitator training with F.I.V.E.
ā
But beyond any modality or certification, my approach is grounded in the belief that each person is the owner and authority of their own process.
I do not see myself as someone who has the answers to another person's life.
ā
My role is to accompany, listen, reflect, and tend the space with care, allowing each participant to discover their own inner guidance.
ā
I believe that the role of a facilitator is not to become the center of someone's healing, but to create the conditions for people to become more deeply connected to themselves and to their own capacity to know.
ā
My work is rooted in consent, sovereignty, safety, empowerment, reciprocity, and respect for the medicines I work alongside.
ā
There is no single way to heal, no universal path, and no experience that needs to look a certain way.
Every person brings their own history, their own body, their own nervous system, and their own relationship with life.
ā
The work begins there.
THE MEDICINE
My relationship with plant and entheogenic medicines is rooted in respect, reciprocity, and responsibility.
ā
I advocate for the conscious, ethical, and sustainable use of Cannabis, Bufo, and 5-MeO-DMT, and for creating spaces where these medicines are approached with care rather than consumption.
For me, working with these medicines is not about chasing extraordinary experiences or collecting peak moments.
It is about relationship:
Relationship with the medicine.
Relationship with the body.
Relationship with the land.
Relationship with ourselves and with one another.
ā
I invite participants to approach these experiences with curiosity and humility, while remaining connected to their own sovereignty and capacity for discernment.
ā
The medicine is not the answer.
ā
The facilitator is not the answer.
ā
The experience itself is not the answer.
ā
The invitation is to listen deeply enough to discover what is true for you.

THANK YOU
Before I am a facilitator, I am a human being.
ā
I am still learning how to live this life.
I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I have known love and loss, belonging and loneliness, certainty and doubt. I have made mistakes, changed my mind, started over, and found myself in places I never expected to be.
ā
I do not believe I am separate from the human experience I invite others to explore.
ā
I am in it too.
ā
Perhaps this is why I am so passionate about the moments when someone remembers something they had forgotten: that they are worthy of love, that they belong, that they have wisdom within them, and that the life they have been looking for may not be somewhere far away.
Maybe it has been here all along.
ā
If you feel called to explore this work with me, I invite you to learn more about the different ways we can work together.
